After `livius' departure, I think you'll agree everyone's been worried about who's going to succeed her. She's left a pretty huge crown to fill, and it's going to take a special someone to carry on her work and do the emoticon community justice.

But never fear! Until that position has been permenantly filled, ^PurpelBlur has very kindly and wholeheartedly stepped up to shoulder some responsibility for the Icons gallery. This is what he had to say in most recent journal..

`livius has left her post. I have seen how upset this community has been and see also what a gap it has left. So I have been trying to make it not so harsh. This is only until a new director is found.
If you would be so kinda as to send me your DD suggestions, that would be great! Sending in miscat reports as well would be fantastic! (Still accepting DD suggs for all galleries.)

Also, I'd like to get an active chat room going for this community. This room would be for now unless the new GD wishes to stay with it. Should I make one (ownership can be transfered)? Should a current room be used? Should this even be done?
PLEASE respond!

Personally, I think it's wonderful that another GD has taken an active role in seeing the emoticon community doesn't run rampant or fall apart in the interim, and I'd like everyone (including those who don't make emotes) to show their support, or at the very least drop a thank you his way.

Good idea or bad? I think it would be a great idea to have a chatroom for the Icons gallery, one that isn't owned by a club or a group, that we can all partay in together. I'm quite happy to take an active part in it, but ^PurpelBlur is looking for your opinions. Head over to his journal and drop a comment!

Otex ear drops are fun. However, my right ear now rumbles when I move in a certain way. The ringing's still there, but I think my ear's clogged up with gunk. I may keep you posted. If you're not killing me out of sheer boredom beforehand.

Yes, I saw Iron Man today. Was quite good methinks. Some bits were funny, one bit made me almost cry with relief, there were lots of planes (one of which I've seen in real life. When it's inner workings were Classified. Mwaha.) and fights and explosions (EXPLOSIONS OF FUN ) and awesome looking cars and shit. So WOOT. The only annoying thing is that my brother has been bugging my parents to go and see it, so they were planning on taking us both to see it tomorrow. I've just been to see it with mah buddehs, I may have to go and see it again.

I don't think I'll complain. Too much.

The Hall Of Fame's launch date has been delayed again, in order for the admins to get our asses in gear and have a meeting. After this, it should no longer be delayed. Do keep an eye out.
